Happy Memorial Day weekend.  No matter how we feel about the war in Iraq, this weekend we bow our heads in honor of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom -- in fact, for my freedom to disagree with what my government is doing.  Thanks to those who have served, and are serving.  We are in your debt.

As for what we'll talk about today:  Hillary Clinton has come under attack again with the publication of several new books saying she's ambitious, plotting, blah, blah, blah.  So I'll ask you and Chris Plante:  Given your concern for family values, was Hillary right to stay with Bill, even when she knew he was unfaithful?  Do you believe she loves him?

And then there's illegal immigration, and all the wrangling over that bill this past week.  So another simple question:  Do we still believe in what Emma Lazarus's poem says at the Statue of Liberty -- or is it time to take it down?

This is easy today.  There's only two real issues to discuss, and they're whoppers:

1:  What do we do about illegal immigrants, given the "deal" proposed by a bipartisan group of senators and the White House this week?

2:  What do we do about Iraq, given that . . . . . well, tune in and we'll discuss.

Happy Mother's Day!  Chris and I are both back this afternoon, after taking Sunday off last week, and we're ready to get back into it -- on the evolution of Republican thought on Iraq; on whether conservatives can support a pro-choice candidate (Guiliani) and if it's okay to ask Mitt Romney about whether he engaged in pre-marital sex; on the latest in illegal immigration law (Dallas and Fairfax); and what do we do if gasoline has hit $4 a barrel?
