The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives voted 218-212 on Friday to set a date certain
for the U.S. to be out of Iraq. President Bush responds that the Democrats are "politicizing" this war, and undermining
our troops. Is that the case? Here's the question: Can Congress "un-declare" war?
And we'll talk as well about the fact that the Attorney General of the U.S. doesn't know the difference
between serving the President as his counsel, and serving the people of the country. I'll explain why you should care,
and you'll tell me why you think it's okay for the White House to insist that Karl Rove and Harriet Miers can only testify
before Congress in private, without taking an oath, and without a transcript (what is the White House afraid of?).
There's more . . . but you'll have to tune in for the rest . . .

On the 4th Anniversary of the beginning of our invasion of Iraq, we'll talk about what we've learned,
and what we haven't. And whether or not the anti-war protesters downtown yesterday were patriots, or traitors.
And whether or not we'll continue . . . wasting lives (using the term both Barack Obama and John McCain used, and then apologized
for.
Plus: Is it time to do away with "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in the military regarding homosexuality?
And is the Rev. Albert Mohler, an evangelical Christian, right when he says homosexuality may be biologically based, not a
choice? And when he suggests that perhaps medical intervention while the baby is in the womb might be the right thing
to do to stop people from being born as homosexuals?
And: Just what DON'T you understand about the improper firing of U.S. Attorneys who didn't
do the bidding of the White House and Attorney General Gonzalez?
Plenty to discuss, today on 630 WMAL.

Wow -- more than enough to talk about to fill a week's worth of shows in one or two hours today:
-- The DC Court of Appeals has overturned the district's gun control laws, mounting a huge challenge
to established law on the 2nd Amendment. How absurd . . .
-- Newt Gingrich wants to be forgiven for having had an affair at the same time he was going after
Bill Clinton in the Lewinsky affair. You ready to grant him absolution and vote for him for President?
-- The Walter Reed (and other Veterans Administration) messes: Would you vote for a tax increase
to properly take care of our wounded and other vets?
-- Not to mention the FBI's abuse of our privacy . . .
Enough? Join Chris Plante and me at 2:00pm, and then you and I will go at it in the 3:00pm
hour . . .

What's your response to Ann Coulter calling John Edwards a "faggot" at the Conservative Political
Action Conference? And why is Mitt Romney the leader in their straw poll, beating Rudy Guiliani and John McCain?
And what does it mean if McCain and Barack Obama both use the word "wasted" in relation to our troop losses in Iraq within
two weeks of each other?
And is there any truth to tonight's Discovery Channel broadcast of "The Lost Tomb" of the alleged
family of Jesus?
We've got lots to talk about today, don't we?
Join me and Chris Plante at 2pm, and me solo at 3pm.
