10/29/06: How desperate is George Allen to win re-election to his Senate seat? He
now asserts what you write in a novel, if salacious and sexy, disqualifies you from public office. How sad. We'll
talk about this, and try to find something resembling a bipartisan solution to the mess in Iraq.

Hello To My Charlotte Friends . . .
Jennifer Rothacker of the Charlotte Observer called me this past Saturday for a feature called, "Catching Up With . .
. ", and that interview ran today, Monday, October 23, 2006. You can find that article by clicking HERE. It also has a link to an mp3 file of my Sunday, 10/22/06 WMAL radio show available for podcasting or downloading.
To my Charlotte friends (and others): Feel free to email me at: jerryk@jerryk.com; as you can tell I don't spend a lot of time updating this website, and I'll try to fix that soon, but I'd love to hear from
you and post some of your notes here. I love my life in Washington, I'm married to the love of my life and am expecting
my first grandchild late this year. And yes, I'm still pushing the rock of my political opinions uphill.
Check back here when you can; it's time to get back to writing, since I haven't written a column in over 5 years now,
so, believe me, I've got lots to say! In the meantime, let me remind you that you can listen to me over the Internet
live on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-4pm, and my shows are posted for downloading, podcasting, or listening at your leisure,
on 630 WMAL's website: www.630WMAL.com. Click on the "On Demand" link, or do a keyword search for "Jerry" on that site.
My best to all,
Jerry

On the agenda today: The Republicans have begun running ominous TV ads that insinuate that, if Democrats win control
of Congress, we're going to be attacked by bin Laden, the terrorists, yada-yada-yada. Do you really believe that?
Are you willing to tell me that Democrats are so weak, so anti-American, so dumb, that we're more likely to die if they control
our government? And: Are conservatives and Republicans really more inherently religious, spiritual, "people of
faith," than liberals and Democrats? Join me!

On today's agenda: What good will a U.N. Resolution do to dissuade North Korea from its nuclear weapons ambitions?
And: Are Republicans and/or conservatives really more moral and/or religious than Democrats and/or liberals?

On today's agenda, I finally get to have my say on the Mark Foley
scandal, as well as stunning words from Republican Senator John Warner, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, about
Iraq. Join me, it will be lively!

Back to work today: I'll ask Chris Plante in the 2pm hour why the Republicans deserve to be reelected as the dominant
party in this Fall's elections. And in the 3pm hour, we'll examine whether or not George Allen is really a racist.
Join me -- we've got lots to catch up on . . .
