Happy Passover!
Lots to talk about today -- much of it concerning the intersection between faith, religion, spirituality, politics and
our daily lives. We'll take a look at the election and installation of Pope Benedict XVI and what it means for all of
us; the attacks by some on the so-called Christian Right on our political system, especially today's "Justice Sunday" meeting
involving Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist -- and lots more, including:
-- An Arlington, Va. woman employee of Harris Teeter grocery story who is suing because she can't wear her Mennonite
garb at work.
-- Islamists sweeping elections in Saudi Arabia
-- The Pledge of Allegiance altered in a school in Denver, Co.
-- Abu Ghraib prison abuses being whitewashed by an Army probe of higher-ups.
-- A White Richmond Man refuses to sell his house to a Black woman
-- A 5-Year-Old girl who was handcuffed by police at school.
And lots more. Join me, won't you?

Sunday, April 17, 2005:
Stand by: A fanatic religious terrorist, who has bombed and killed Americans, and has been hiding out in caves for
years, has finally been caught -- but he's been given a special deal by his regional government, with the American government's
approval and endorsement. In fact, instead of being put to death, and instead of being held incommunicado in Guantanamo Bay,
he's being allowed given a life sentence, in return for telling us where some of his bombs are hidden. But worse yet, he's
being allowed to publish a ten-page diatribe against the U.S. and its government, basically encouraging others to do what
he did. And not only is his government allowing this, there's been almost no outcry from his religious leaders and others
of his faith. Why are we allowing this to happen -- and why haven't you heard about this deal? I thought we didn't deal with
terrorists?
Stay tuned -- you haven't heard the worst of this yet. (See my page on the 630 WMAL website for more details.)
Join me for a fast-paced three hours on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Washington, DC.

Sunday, April 10, 2005
The show now begins at Noon, running to 3pm each Sunday!
On today's show -- we all acknowledge the good that Pope John Paul II did -- but what about his
failures, such as his lack of willingness to allow women to be ordained; his inadequate response to the sex abuse scandal
in the Church; his continuing ban on the use of condoms, even when they might save lives of those who might be exposed to
AIDS?
And -- Is it time to have a Black Pope, or another of color? Could you accept that?
Plus -- how is it possible that the Church has allowed disgraced Cardinal Bernard Law to have a
position of honor at one of the Pope's funerals?
More today: Why did the American Christian terrorist Eric Rudolph get a special deal allowing
him to avoid the death penalty? Would he have been treated differently if he were a Muslim terrorist?
And:
-- Isn't it time to consider charging House Republican Majority Leader with a crime for, in essence,
threatening judges?
-- On the 2nd anniversary of the fall of Baghdad, and in light of the latest report saying we were
"dead wrong" about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, don't we owe the Iraqis who lost innocent loved ones an apology --
and maybe even some monetary compensation? Are you now finally willing to admit you were wrong?
-- How far should we allow vigilantes like those calling themselves the "Minuteman Project" to
go in trying to stop illegal immigration?
Enough? Join me for a fast-paced three hours on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Washington,
DC.
