9 Days and Counting . . .
Sunday, October 24th:  Obviously, we're talking about the election today -- 9 days and counting.  And here's the big question:  Why haven't we been attacked on the homeland yet by Al-Qaeda, when we were warned so strenuously to be on the lookout?  Check out my page on the WMAL website -- I've posted a poll you might want to participate in -- http://www.630wmal.com -- and click on my page (or enter "Jerry" in the key word box to find my page).  Also, remember you can listen to me live via streaming over the Internet from WMAL's site.

Sunday, October 17th

Sunday afternoons, 1:00-3:00pm; call in using these phone numbers:  In the Washington area, 202-432-WMAL (202-432-9625); Toll-free long distance, 1-888-630-WMAL; also, #630 is a free call on your Cingular Wireless cellphone.  To send me email:  Jerry@630WMAL.com.

I'm getting a kick out of all the email you've been sending; thanks for the postive comments as well as those not so flattering.  I appreciate all the feedback, whether you're with me or not on the issues.  All that really matters is that we continue to talk!

As for today -- we'll talk about the upcoming election, of course -- what else would we be talking about?  And we'll discuss Sinclair Broadcasting's move to have its 62 TV stations nationwide show the anti-Kerry Vietnam War documentary "Stolen Honor."  Follow this link to learn how to boycott Sinclair's advertisers for doing this:  http://www.boycottsbg.com/.

And here's a link to an interesting story about President Bush's faith in today's issue of the New York Times Magazine:  http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/17/magazine/17BUSH.html.

Need an easy-to-understand list of reasons why the President doesn't deserve to be re-elected?  I know you don't trust the source, but read today's editorial from The New York Times:  http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/17/opinion/17sun1.html
